Second Street Studios

This 80,000 sq. ft. artist and entrepreneur's live/work community was the first newly constructed artist live/work project to be built since the depression (rather than a "loft renovation").
The community is constructed around a series of tree-filled courtyards.  Buildings offer 24-foot high ceilings, skylights and living lofts.  Tenants include artists and artisans, a glass blower, a software development firm, a salsa maker, a print maker, a furniture maker, a frame shop and dozens of other innovative businesses.  The studios are adjacent to a recently reactivated rail line.
