Jonathan Rose Companies LLC Jonathan Rose Companies LLC collaborates with cities, community development corporations, academic and other institutions to help them solve complex problems. Typically, we work with organizations that have development expertise, but need help with a particular complex project. We provide a full range of services, but only those needed by our clients. The firm also develops pojects on behalf of its partners. Some clients wish us to help them build capacity, so that they can develop projects without us, others ask us to manage the full process so that they do not have to create development process. For example, the Greyston Foundation in Yonkers, New York, an experienced developer of housing for formerly homeless families, asked us to co-develop a much larger and more architecturally and financially complex development that provided housing for homeless, people living with AIDS and a medical treatment center. Subsequently, on additional Greyston projects, we only provided owner’s representation construction management services. Although affordable housing is at the core of our work, it often is only a component of our work, which frequently tends to be mixed use. For example, for the Village of Irvington, New York, we developed the Burnham Building into a new village library and affordable rental housing. Our firm is also actively engaged in the development of a variety of mixed-use, urban infill, Hope VI, and senior housing projects. All of our projects incorporate green design and construction techniques, and we are continually improving our project management systems. Jonathan Rose Companies, LLC also manages our acquisition and asset management activities.
